FAQ

Q. Where are these truss products manufactured?

A. TAF trusses, listed on TrussGear.com website, are manufactured and imported from Truss Aluminium Factory a.s. (TAF) in Czech Republic, Europe, to fully stocked distribution center in central Florida, where we process and mail out our shipping orders.

Q. How long does it take to ship my order?

A. Generally, all orders available in stock ship between the same day and one business day, depending on the size of your order and time needed to pack it. Custom orders or back orders may take up from six to eight weeks to ship.

Q. Do your trusses come with connecting hardware or do I need to purchase it separately?

A. All truss segments are shipped with enough connecting hardware to connect to another truss segment. The hardware is already pre-packed in the product box with your truss and included in cost of your purchased truss segment.

Q. Are there any recommended tools to help connect your trusses?

A. Yes, we recommend that our customers use  brass hammers when connecting TAF Quick-lock trusses. The brass hammers will reduce damage to the truss and connecting hardware, prolonging the life span and protecting your investment. Additional tool we offer is "Rigger Hand" tool, which works as lever arm, pulling or separating apart your stubborn truss segments during the installs. Both tools can be found on trussgear.com in Accessories section.

Q. How much weight load can TAF trusses support, are they certified?

A. TAF trusses are certified by TÜV. TÜV certification of TAF trussing lines ensures the highest quality of TAF products and certifies that TAF trussing segments can bear the loads shown in provided loading tables.
